One of my favorite movies as a kid. I must have watched this a trillion times on channel 11. I have no copyrights to this and I found this on youtube.com. For the record. The one on channel 11 had all the dirty stuff removed. Like when you first get to see Revenge of the Nerds on HBO and realize those Nerds were some serious horny bastards.

RIP George Carlin. He played Rufus in this movie.

Lady Gaga got my vote forever.

Recently Lady Gaga did an interview for Barbara Walters year end Most Fascinating People. This year Gaga was no doubt the most fascinating of all the entertainers. I was drawn to her performance art; a scene that is common in NYC. Without knowing much about her other than I was digging her club music; I finally got to see her performance at the 2009 MTV VMA's and while via twitter people were talking shit about her I quickly tweeted her as an icon in the making. I knew automatically that she was into performance art, and I knew that she was bringing some old school performance art to the mainstream masses. I finally got to catch this Barbara Walters interview. The best part is in the end, when it becomes evident why Lady Gaga has gained so much popularity and why she got my vote so swiftly.

When I was younger I used to play with the Jem doll that my sister had gotten as a gift. A few years later I would forget about her and her glowing star earrings only to find her once again during my tween years in the Dominican Republic. See, my parents would go back home to the Dominican Republic every summer. Sometimes we would be sent ahead of time so that we could get used to being there. It was a reminder for us that even though we were growing up American; there were 2 sides to our story and it all began in Dominican Republic. We would spend the entire summer speaking only Spanish and exploring our neighborhood back in Jarabacoa, D.R. Everyday at 4pm they would have cartoons on the national broadcasting channel the D.R. had and they would put on Jem and the Holograms along with G.I. Joe, Super Mario Bros and at times Transformers. Of course it would be completely SAP'ed in Spanish. Everything but the songs were in Spanish and everyday for 3 months I would make sure I was back home @ 4pm just to watch Jem and the Holograms. I remember that Jem and her band would come with cassettes so that you could play along lip syncing as if you were Jem yourself. I loved it.

Hannah Montana is kind of an imitation of Jem the only difference is that Jem was way more fashion orientated and her story was way cooler. Plus Jem had the look and the life everyone aspired to have.

I fucks with Brit for this one. She does a good job at doing a rendition, for whatever reasons she chose to do the song. I've decided NOT to jump to conclusions. She toned up and is making that good money on tour.

CLassic Film Teen Witch

This film is dope: Foxes

Found this movie on the net called "Foxes" and it stars Jodie Foster and Cherie Currie from the Runaways. I've never seen this movie until now and its as if it were the prelude to Kids or something to that extent. Each character symbolizes a female in one of our cliques, similar to the way Sex and the City identifies with every female. And to think that we thought we were more advanced than they were back in the days, when in reality we are just like them only that all the bad is out in the open now. This movie may be from 1979 but its as if it stood the test of time, its still relevant today. By the by Scott Baio is in it and he's always something pretty to look at. Check out this movie, its classic.

Good Bye Michael

I wanted to add these pictures of Michael Jackson's funeral yesterday. I was asked by a friend to go out and celebrate her birthday but I decided to hold off until I finished watching the funeral.
I was watching via CNN up until the Jackson Family cut off the live feed. See, the family didn't allow the public or the media into their private funeral. But what they did allow was a live feed given by them and it was to be cut off at their discretion. The family cut off the feed after Michael's coffin was brought in. As soon as I realized the family had done that, I decided it would be respectful of me to stop watching. They gave us what they could and now they needed their privacy. I respected that.
After watching, I went out and had a few drinks in memory and celebration. The man accomplished so much in his life, I want to try just as hard to do the same on my terms.
I found these pictures on the net and wanted to add them. He was a part of my childhood and in a way it feels like I lost that and then some how found it again. I kind of feel like we're losing so much in this world. I want to be grateful for everything I do in my life, I want to LIVE it as well as make sure that everyday I go to work, I LOVE what I do. I want to live with no regrets.
All these thoughts and ideals came into play when Michael had passed away and now it's like a finality just hit. I really wanted him to make that comeback.
Thank you to the Jackson Family for allowing us to be a part of their goodbye as well as giving the media these pictures.

Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration on August 29, 2009

It's been a minute my lovely creative outlet, but I've been stuck writing on other people's blogs and you know living. I recently went to the Michael Jackson birthday celebration thrown by Q-tip and Mark Ronson and I must say shit was awesome. I heard music that I would have never known was created by Michael Jackson and his brothers as well as hearing Quincy Jones call in to bless the celebration and say how much he loved Michael and that he was "his little brother". Marcia from Floetry was on hand as well and she sang "Butterflies", one of my favorite new school M.J. songs. Marcia had written the song for Michael and it was featured in his last studio release "Invincible". It was by all accounts an event filled with love. Everyone was relaxed, hell I went by myself and got a free drink and danced the night away with a group of people I didn't even know. It was really cool to see everyone just come together to celebrate a person that they only knew through his accomplishments. It was and always will be respect.
I can't get over the extensive catalog of music he created along with his brothers and even the music he wrote for his sisters. It was really cool. There are many people that say that they weren't fans or weren't touched by his music but in reality that night broke that myth. Their have been countless songs sampled based on Michael Jackson or The Jacksons music, some songs we didn't know about because they weren't so commercialized. Hip Hop takes many forms and many hit songs created for Hip Hop artists were taken from music from The Jacksons, proving that we were all some how some way greatly affected by their musical talent. I recorded some video from my blackberry, it isn't great video, but it defines what I have been writing through music so that you can hear how many songs were taken from their original tracks and recreated as hits for other artists. It was an amazing event and I'm glad I took a part in sharing it with all the people that were there.

On another note, I didn't get to record video of this, but Mark Ronson had created a special tribute to DJ AM. As we all know the news of DJ AM's passing had broke the day before and Ronson created a special tribute to him using the song "Lisa its your birthday" from the Simpsons episode when Homer is put in a mental institution with a guy that claims he is Michael Jackson. Ronson said that AM loved the Simpsons (as do I) and he wanted to make a tribute for him. Which was incredibly befitting for both a tribute to MJ and AM because MJ was really on that episode of The Simpsons titled "Stark Raving Dad". MJ was never accredited for the episode because his record company at the time would not allow him to sing for anyone else. SO "Happy Birthday Lisa" was sung by Kipp Lennon. But the voice of the character who claimed he was Michael was in fact Michael Jackson. Anyways this is the song that was specially remixed as a tribute to AM that night

Another silly fact, Michael Jackson wrote the most popular song of the Simpsons aside from the theme song, "DO the Bartman". Crazy how that never got out huh? The Simpsons creator Matt Groening admitted that recently. There is so much this dude gave us and so much we didn't know.

Of all the things I was fortunate to see after the passing of M.J. I happened to have missed this Larry King Live episode. For anyone else that had missed this here is the episode where Michael Jackson's friends pour out their emotions over the loss of their friend.

Songs stuck in my brain-- "Bang Bang" by Nancy Sinatra

I had this song in my brain a few days ago and I found a video of Nancy Sinatra singing it. Yes that makes her Frank Sinatra's daughter.
She looks really pretty in this video. Most recently this song was featured in Kill Bill and that's how I remember it although I did download the song for my playlist.

Brad Pitt speaking on some serious shit on Bill Maher

I really love watching Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. Someday I hope to finally gain enough status to be on the show, being that you can only be on the show if your a somebody that Bill Maher would know. I mean no pun or jokes intended but it's still a show. Brad Pitt stopped by Bill Maher's show and was upfront on his stances as an American. He made very good points and I did not know he was a great joint roller. Good to know. Aside from that the best part is when Bill Maher says that most American's view things in both of their perspectives but are closeted about it. Which I honestly believe is true. I believe in many of the things Bill Maher discusses although not all but the majority of them.

M.J. THIS IS IT TOUR CONCERT TICKETS

before he passed away, M.J. had created special 3D (lanticular processing) tickets that featured animation, morphing or a combo of these special effects for his ticket holding fans. These "oversized" tickets were only given to those who purchased tickets to his final set of concerts at the 02 Arena in London, England. They were inspired and designed by Michael Jackson and his hopes were that those that purchased these tickets for his final event were going to keep them as a momento of there special night together. If anyone says he didn't give a shit about his fans they are so full of it. Most artists only spend the extra cash for these tickets for the backstage passes given out to the staff, but M.J. made it so that his fans could feel that they were coming into a once in a lifetime event. Which in actuality was true, as we all know he passed and now those that got the chance are able to keep these momentos.

For once their is finally audio of Stephanie Mills opening up about her relationship with Michael Jackson. They had dated back in the day before he came out with Thriller and although she does admit they didn't get to do the do they did chill a lot and she slept over his house many times. THAT 70'S FINAL EPISODE and THE FINAL GOODBYE

I know you guys watch this show religiously because its on syndication and I do AANNNND I'm pretty much a self professed tv whore. I love television, film and proving people wrong. Anyways what my title is talking about is That 70's Show, one of the last well written comedic sitcoms of our time. I think the show was mainly cool because it offered nostalgia of a time, it featured young actors with great chemistry and they FINALLY made weed official tissue. 2006 was a busy year for me, its when I started soul searching so I missed the final episodes of That 70's Show but I do want to admit I remember watching it from the beginning even watching That 80's Show. So I finally found the final episode and I wanted to add it to my blog as is custom of me finding shit people are always looking for. For the record: I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS AND I FOUND IT ON YOUTUBE. P.S. The writers did a great ending for this show. I want to mention Carsey-Werner LLC, I have no idea why but I will.

Yes the guy does have some butterfly effect on his face, but back in the days it was always about being a spectacle and being entertaining. I really am digging this song.

MICHAEL JACKSON BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

There's going to be a big celebration on MJ's 51st Birthday here in New York City. I'm definitely going to make it a point to go there. It is going to be held at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square and will be DJ'ed by Mark Ronson. I'm going to buy me a ticket and hopefully I can get someone to come with. If I can't then screw everyone I'm going to go by myself and hopefully I'll bump into someone I know there. Its going to be amazing and I hope they keep the tradition up every year on August 29th. Because if they don't, I sure will. By the by you can also purchase your tickets online or at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square. Its only 25 bucks just so you know.

In my internet travels I found this video from 1992, back when Eddie Murphy had a record deal and MJ hooked him up by being in the song. By the way I also found out that Rockwell (who is related to Berry Gordy and changed his name) really did use MJ for his song. Much to VH1's Pop Up Video's chagrin. I think its kind of funny. I also found an old clip of MJ accepting an award with Eddie Murphy, no not the Arsenio Hall one, even though I remember watching that as a kid. My sister and I used to love Arsenio Hall.

FOR THE RECORD

I understand that since I do have a twitter account (twitter.com/saigiddy) and this website is on my profile that I will be getting more people viewing my blog. I didn't create this blog to stay up on what everyone else is writing. In actuality it is just an account of a human beings likes and dislikes. A human by the name of Saira--which obviously is me. At one point someone on my twitter directed me to an article that was very informative but also attempted to kind of kick me down by saying my blog will never make money. I thanked the person for sending me to an article about monetizing websites (WHICH WAS GOOD INFO TO KNOW) but at the same time I replied it was never my intention to make something that the whole world is going to like. This is about a different kind of society, a society that is some what dead now. The kind that admitted that they liked the Muppets, Pete and Pete, Daria content you haven't seen or missed. And just some good well written films. Good television programming and shit that you just don't see anymore thanks to some of the mindless dribble now on tv. I post what I like and I can't always aspire to be what anyone wants me to like so if your searching for a bunch of gossip, you may find it and you may not. But I will tell you this, YOU the reader, if you are out there, will definitely enjoy the content. Maybe it'll open your eyes to something you didn't know you could like. And maybe you'll just be like, hey I remember that ish! Just wanted to post that for once.

Don't wonder why Mein Herr!

I haven't been on in a minute. I know, I know, I made promises. I've been sitting at home blogging for another website but my own. How nice! So many things have happened since the last time I posted. One of my favorite singers and one of the reasons why I was attempting this push to the top was to meet him....Michael Jackson. I wanted to post a lot about him and yet I haven't done anything. That doesn't mean I haven't been researching. Soon I will post about MJ but for now lets talk Liza. Liza Minnelli that is, I have to say I have gotten more and more interested in stage, and night club acts. I think she looks great in this performance of "Mein Herr" from the 1972 movie "Cabaret". She also looks super cute in her outfit. Hmm...maybe my halloween costume this year...lol

LATINAS ON THE RUN GOT EVERYONE HYPE!!

Pretty soon our tv is going to be taken over by the lovely ladies of Latina's on the Run. A new show that follows 2 beautiful girls, Victoria Ortiz and Jessica Perez through the streets of New York City. The girls go to invite only events as well as city wide events and interview locals and celebrities alike. All the while the girls are having fun and showing New Yorkers what they are missing by not being more involved within there small yet exciting city. I find this show to be really cool not just because I know the girls but also because in the show, they show how the girls are working within the industry to propel their respective careers. Jessica Perez recently won the Dr Jays Fresh Faces campaign for 2009 which means that we will be seeing her face all over billboards this summer. Ms Victoria Ortiz is a model and video vixen. She has been in magazines such as Maxim and was also featured as the hottie of the month for the extremely popular New York City internet radio station, Alistradio.net. I attached a little sneak preview, a teaser if you will, brought to us via Vladtv.com.

Women On Top.

Today was just one of those days. I woke up feeling like it was summer, yet summer has still not hit NYC yet. It's always a push / pull with the weather out here. At times it's amazing, the colors that can be viewed when the weather is just right serves up creativity on a silver platter. But those are just my thoughts about the changing of the seasons here in my little NYC.

I woke up today to the sun beaming in my face, a thing that many New Yorkers hate, especially after a party night such as sunday is claimed to be. I got up, did my morning ritual and started to flip through the channels. As I was doing this I stopped at HBO, which was playing an old favorite movie of mine, "Woman On Top". At first you may think that this movie is about feminism. It is but in some ways it isn't. The movie centers around the main character Isabella Oliviera. As a child Isabella develops extreme motion sickness that forces her to have to live a certain way. Because of her motion sickness, she isn't able to play with her friends so as a child she found a place in the kitchen. She is taught by the cooks that work in her house and through this she finds her amazing potential as a chef. She falls in love with a charming man, and her sickness drives him crazy. He becomes infuriated that he always has to give her first dibs on everything. He owns a restaurant in which he makes Isabella the head chef, but takes all the credit, keeps her in the back and in the dark and takes all the credit for her cooking. His ego leads him to cheat on her, something that she ended up witnessing. And so she decides to move to San Francisco a place not used to exotic food. She somehow lands a job cooking for a tv show...

I want to keep going with my synopsis but their is a point to all this writing. The movie is made to the sounds of Brazil. The soundtrack is on point with the movie and with the food that Isabella cooks. I read some bad reviews for the movie, how it doesn't make sense or her sickness isn't plausible. But I'm honestly here to say that the movie is plausible in certain aspects. Her motion sickness, I had extreme motion sickness till I was 15. I had to always sit in front, I had to always be cooked special meals and I had to come to terms with my excessive puking. I guess the story to me isn't so far fetched. The brazilian versian of santeria is similar to the other versions that I see all the time. I know people who practice these rituals to save themselves from the wrath of the saints and gods. My father is a chef and he taught me certain recipes to keep myself from starving. That and so that I can restore the nutrients I lost from puking my insides.

I guess I just wanted to argue the fact that this movie is good. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic on the low. Haha don't tell anyone.

Ok I'm gonna post a trailer and then a few scenes that I can find. But the trailer is kind of whack. But the movie is hot. Trust.

I guess I really liked this movie because it reminds me of all the things I enjoy about being latina. The colors, the flavors, the sounds of a culture. I just think the director, Fina Torres, did an amazing job telling a story.

By the by this sexy brazilian actor by the name of Murilo Benicio is in it and I'm telling you, he is charming. Just standing in a corner, he is charming. He was in this novela or brazilian soap opera, "El Clon". This novela was amazing, and it was written very well. If I find it I'll post it. Even though its translated from brazilian to spanish.

Christian San Martin aka Young Scorsese

I would like to dedicate this post to a young visionary on his way to making great things. Christian San Martin aka Pookie aka the Pookierazzi is well known in the club world as DJ Camilo's official photographer. However, what many people don't know is that this young man is also an aspiring cinematographer and director. I first got to see him in action when he was searching for a lead to one of his short films entitled "Man of my Dreams". I had the perfect lead for him, Maria Garcia better known as Pinkii of DTFradio.com fame. The connection was made, a film was produced and even though these films are amateur they are done with a clear cut creative vision. You have to admit, there are not that many people out there that can make an amateur short film and still make it look amazing. There is talent among these short films, commercials and videos (see post below, Juganot's "Neva Stop" music video). It is obvious when viewing these pieces of work that this young film maker has major creative potential. I hope to work with Christian San Martin aka Pookie in the near future. I would definitely recommend this young man to collaborate with anyone who has a respectable project.

MTV ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARY ON MARIO AND HIS MOTHER'S ADDICTION.

I have been looking for this episode for about 2 years now and am very happy that you tube exists. About 2 yrs ago, before R&B singer Mario released his "Go" LP (which had some dope tracks on it mind you), he made a documentary openly admitting the fact that his family was plagued with drug addiction. His mother had been a heroin addict since he was a baby and that affected his life in many ways. At first I thought that the episode was actually on A&E's "Intervention"; an hour long show based on families and addiction. Each show ends with the addict being asked by his loved ones to go to rehab. However, after searching for hours on the net I found out it was in actuality an MTV Docs (documentary) movie. I have always liked Mario, I happen to think that he is very talented and not to mention incredibly good looking. However, he's a kid, like a few yrs younger than me. After watching the full documentary, I really came to see him as someone I can admire, in fact I came to see him more as a man. He really took care of himself, and achieved his dreams at a very young age. God was really with him through the beginning of his career and now. He has an amazing amount of strength and character. I really respect that and of course him. So being that I always post up these things, I have posted all the episodes I found on youtube.com, being that I was watching each one in 10 minute increments. Sit down and watch these episodes, trust me, you'll end up with a profound respect for Mario. The name of the MTV Docs is "I Won't Love You Till Death: The Story of Mario and his Mom".

I was at one point a Cassie fan, and this doesn't change much about my thoughts about her. I actually grew tired of waiting for an album about 3 years ago. But being the fact that I woke up this morning, refreshed the twitterberry, and read casually about Cassie's nipple pierced tits. I thought to myself, self, how long have you been wanting to get yours pierced? I mean wtf? So I decided about 3 hours later to go on my comp and check the pics out. I like that the majority of the sites I checked would not post the picture without putting some sort of animation on her tits. Yes. So being that as the biggest excuse, I decided to post the picture on my blog. I decided to chose the most tasteful of the two pictures. The whole someone hacking into her comp thing...I don't know, but then again that's her beeswax kudos to her for taking the Madonna route and saying so the fuck what you saw my tits??!?!?

I HEART THE SPICE GIRLS!!

Ok so maybe your thinking, Spice Girls, really? yes. I was a huge fan when I was growing up, not only did I think they were cool, but I found it amazing that they didn't seem that different from me. Instead they were like british counter parts of my friends. Crazy. That's what my friends were crazy lol. Look you can't knock these girls that came together through an ad in a British paper, realized they were doing something different, shopped for different management and made about $100 million in sales in less than 1 year. Their first year at that. They were positive role models compared to what we see now, and they were honest girls. They kept it funky, I respect the fact that they admit in this BBC series that they were young, most of what they did they don't even remember because it was a whirlwind. I found this by accident on you tube, I mean you know me always searching for the weird and saira-likable. I loved their endorsement deals, selling out or not, they set themselves straight for life.You have to respect the FIRST biggest selling female girl group. No one else has made money as a unit like them. So with out further a due or do or what not here's the show:








These girls had the balls to throw themselves into the fire and come out alive.Their success was unprecedented, I have to respect that. More so, they came out for the better, still cool friends.

Juganot's New Video "Neva Stop"

I do have some behind the scenes of this video, but unfortunately once again I did it all with my blackberry video and it came out pretty crappy, but at least the real video didn't. Juganot is a rapper hailing from Queens, a good friend of the Chika Malas, and part of the very hot Strictly Live crew. Juganot is not only mad cool, but very well versed in the game and his music speaks about his struggles and dreams within this tough ass industry. He is very close to DJ Camilo, who plays all of his new and hot tracks on Hot 97FM in New York City as well as his many night club destinations for Camilo is well known as the international club king for a reason. This video, entitled "Neva Stop" is directed by fresh new comers Christian San Martin and Rafael who have also directed many other short films that include one of my top clients Pinkii Bfly of DTFRadio.com fame. Pinkii is also the first girl in the video as well as my good friend and Chika Mala Capo Hersy; whom of which plays the love interest. SaiGiddy and the Chika Malas at the WMC

The winter music conference came to Miami, Florida and trust that me and my friends were not far away as we hopped on our flights and got down to the Mia to have some much needed fun in the sun.

I got there over the weekend so we got to party at a few spots. The Christian Audigier Champagne Party Dj'ed by Tony Touch aka Tony Toca and DJ Camilo was pretty on point with some 1000 plus people showing up and rockin out the whole night. The Chika Malas (Hersy Kiss, Pink Bfly, Checka, JBoogie,Julissa) partied it up and enjoyed the mixed crowd of New Yorkers and Miamians (hopefully thats correct terminology) mash up. I didn't really take too many pics out there but here are a few cute ones from down south that I did get to take. I'm going to post some videos up as soon as I can get you tube to accept them and all that salsa. It was an interestingly fun time especially at the posh hotels such as the FontainBleu, South Beach Marriott and even Circa 39. Circa 39 is a small but beautiful hotel located on 39 and collins. The plus side is that the pool is open 24/7 and so our last night there we had a small pool party for a proper send off. I have to also shout out the best Cuban spot out on Collins ave Puertos Saguas (hope thats correct) for the illest (amazing for the ebonically challenged) food and tostones (fried green plantains) they served us as our energy food for all the drunken nights of debauchery. Arroz con habichuelas negras was the jump off for my vegetarian ass and as for my meat eating friends they serve an array of Cuban dishes as well as good seafood. I got some pics of them sexy ass tostones lol ;p

These tostones were off the chain!!!! best tostones I have ever had and the sauce made them moreee delicious. By the by they were huge and damn near the size of my hand. Word is (from the lovely chika mala hersy) is that they get there green plantains from hawaii. Dope


And this pic below was my umpteenth "Super Man" from the infamous Wet Willies on Ocean Drive, where you can get some slushie drinks that range from names like Call A Cab, Attitude Adjustment and for the really daring the "Super Man" a mix of all three. These mofo's seem suave (hitting the sap button:soft) but these suckers will slap you in the face and you will definitely be caught out on south beach throwing up cookies. Please kiddies drink these in moderation. P.S. that is my mini hand lol

BACK TO THE FUTURE IN DVD!!

I can't help but post about one of my all time fave trilogies "Back to the Future". Marty McFly aka Micheal J. Fox had the original swagga that most of the guys nowadays are trying to imitate. Like for real, dude wore Calvin Klein underwear, super trendy in those times, had a slick tongue and his skating skills were crazy. Micheal J. Fox always had it on point, I'm not gonna lie though nothing compares to the first Robert Zemeckis classic but atleast they did the best they could do especially after the whole Crispin Glover incident. Which by the way if I'm not mistaken changed a few laws in hollywood about using actors' likeness without paying them err something to that effect--someone google that ish and figure it out for yourself. Crispin Glover plays Marty's dad as well as the "thin man" in Charlies Angels; the remakes by Drew Barrymore and the rest of the chicks. It's officially coming out on DVD (FINALLY!!) and so everyone should definitely go out and cop it. As you know I was a saturday afternoon, 8 o'clock, late night movie kind of girl on channel 11 and you know Back to the Future was one of those flicks that we got to see a million times. They don't make movies with such good story lines or movies that fascinate as this anymore. Shout to Christpher Lloyd aka the Doc! by the way guys he was the executive producer of Frasier that spin off show of Cheers or something to that extent as well. I'm very knowledgable in useless facts. I could be a life line on "who wants to be a millionaire"; you know just throwing it out there lol.

Currently I am on the phone right now with a Marriott employee about to poke my eyes out. I've been trying to find a hotel (last minute of course, however else was I planning to book??). We're off to see the wizard at Sobe aka South Beach to make it to the Winter Music Conference. Half of the majority of New York City is going and I've been dying to go for almost 2 years and finally I get the chance and here I am. On hold. With the marriott people. Nice. I need a vacation. Like seriously. I am in no shape to be in a bikini but I don't give a shit. Thats right. I guess I'm going to perch my sea whaled ass on south beach and toast like a mofo. I'm probably going to get drunk past oblivion and have my designated walker aka Pinkii of dtfradio.com carry my ass back to the hotel if she can make it. If not we're going to live vicariously through the beach like bums. Does that make sense? It does to me and as I'm on the phone she's agreeing to live thru my debauchery. I'm going to go stuff my face with some vegetarian mc donalds. Fuck a bathing suit right now. Even tho I'm going to regret that later on. When I get to the winter music conference expect a ton of pics and video of saira and pinkii fuckery. Ok so usually I post a video and if the situation was like "Weekend at Berneies" where we had a dope place to stay we'd be pretty cheesing right now, minus the dead body. Maybe. hahaha

You never realize how precious patience is.

I recently bumped into the title of this post and realized how true that is. Patience is a virtue.

Aside from that I found this ill cartoon of Aaliyah created in promotion for her last self titled album. It's pretty hot, and not because of the anime. Frankly, SOME anime is whack but this in particular was said to be created in Japan for her release out in the other side of the world. I think its pretty cool that no matter what this chick Aaliyah stuck to her guns and remained who she was. She was celebrated for having her own style of doing things and thats pretty ill. She was truly in tune with her all star playa---I fucks with that.

Long day of questions. Just asking questions.
I know that sounds a bit crazy but there's always a saying to go with anything you may think negative. Like in this case for example, closed mouths don't get fed. I asked questions about everything I could think of, about the music industry, about marketing, about promotions, radio stations, how did you make it? when did you get there? do you have a humble sandwich every morning as they say? how difficult was it for you? How does that work? why do radio stations...what does that mean, so you mean to say...
All the questioning, early morning work, combined with rushing home and taking care of my home. I'm mega tired.
I want to watch more sex and the city and sit in bed and fall into a deep sleeeeeppp.

For the record, I learned a few things today. I learned that you should always question everything. Now, I don't mean go ahead and question whats in your food when there is no need to state the obvious. No! I mean be a creative thinker. There are stupid questions, however, if you didn't have the balls to ask that stupid question then homie in the back would have not known the answer. You know? And 2. You don't ask anyone for anything. Business is always business, so everything seems to always come with a barter. This number 2 can change up if you play your position right. But other than that, don't do it.

Weird Science

This has to be in my top 10 movies of all time, Weird Science. Kelly Lebrock was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddd!! I must say she makes me want to lose 10 pounds. This was back when stories were actually created for movies. And I mean really crazy out there yet still plausible stories. Anyone whose seen this movie actually thought at one point that maybe this could really happen or it had happened or you just basically finished watching the movie and left feeling great and totally hating chet. Chet who now plays the dude with too many wives on Big Love, I'm usually good with names but anyways I found the trailer. I was actually born in 84 so I got put on to this movie when it came out in VHS because my fam was cool like that. We actually had a vhs, how old school does that seem now a days?? I got to rewatch this movie when channel 11 (in nyc) used to do the afternoon movies in the early to mid 90's and they would put on some hot 80's teen movies. I don't necessarily wish that things were the same, because think about it, it was an era in time but I do wish that we could have kept the same desire to actually want to make a good film. Or atleast want to tell a good story no matter how crazy it would seem. Check out the Weird Science trailer the movie was directed by John Hughes. Whats even more crazy for me is the fact that the movie was slated for july 12th. It's cool to see how the evolution of the movie trailer. Idk maybe I sound like a dick but I know you're feeling what I'm saying.

TelePoP Musik

I have to say that when my boy told me about this group a year ago, I was interested but not necessarily paying attention. Not until we linked up again and he blasted some songs off his xbox 360 that were amazing! I still don't know the name of the song, mainly because their was some good doobies involved HOWEVER I did remember the name of the group and their name is Telepopmusik. I have to admit that after hearing more of their work, mainly from youtube, they definitely are a band worth mentioning. From what their myspace says, they are an electronic/pop band but the best part is that they are involved in every step of their music meaning that they create everything from their distinctive sound to some of the vocals. Telepopmuzik hails from France and already have a huge following out there and all over Europe. We tend to hear them here in certain popular shows and commercials but it obviously isn't the same to be in a club in France or just walking the streets of Paris with your ipod on or hearing telepopmuzik blasting from someones car down the street. Their lyrics are amazing, in English suprisingly, and very true to reality. Some of these videos I'm about to post aren't necessarily from them, some people in Europe have fallen in love with this band so much that they have created their own videos for their songs. If music, especially telepopmuzik, can inspire creativity in someone, that's definitely worth the time to check them out.

So this one's called "Breathe" by Telepopmuzik and I can't begin to tell you how crazy realistic and soothing it sounds in comparison to other music I listen too. This is straight calm down and chill out music.


This is the second video called "Into Everything" by Telepopmuzik and this joint is amazing as well. The video is visually appealing too. I have to admit, if you take the time to chill out to this, you will open up to everything, just like in the song.


this song right here is crazy, the lyrics are very realistic and oddly true to certain things in my own perspective. This song is called "train to wherever" by Telepopmuzik. There's no singing, its a guy kind of rapping it, but it is pure poetry.

WHAM! is fire.

As stated in the previous post, for those that don't know Wham! is an 80's band in which George Micheal was the lead singer and Andrew was the other guy with him. And Andrew's pretty cool too lol. Once you see George Micheal's face or at least hear the beginning in which he starts singing it'll bring you back to the "Faith" times. Well, at least if you have some sort of musical soul. Anyways there are some hilarious parts to this video, the part where they jump up in the air and do a cirque de soleil type shit will have you wondering if the director thought that it was ill at that time. So these are my 2 favorite Wham! songs first one is "Everything she wants" which is a song that makes surprisingly a lot of sense for this day and age as well. And the 2nd one is "Careless Whisper" which is another classic. As cheesy as they were they made some classic pop tunes. I need to put them in my mp3 again. Please note they're staring into the camera dreamingly. By the way I was born in 84 so I did get put on to this music as I was growing up with my cousins that were already in there teens. Maybe that was a lot of unnecessary information similar to the extra n in unnecessary. Enjoy!

Michael Cera you fine ass mofo

For one reason or another, I am totally attracted to Micheal Cera. But I can never spell his name correctly is the a before the e or the e before the a??? Any whoooo... Even though everyone says he plays the same character in every one of his films, which he may do, I don't see it because my super gigantic crush overshadows all and makes me enjoy all his films. Especially his Arrested Development days, being named George Micheal is just crazy. I mean if anyone says the name George Micheal obviously your going to think about wham! and if you don't remember wham! or atleast heard of them while growing up (mind you I'm only 24) then you seriously need a healthy dose of 80's cheesyness. Wham! was dope tho, I'm pretty sure its been sampled in the not so distant past. Ok back to Micheal Cera. I finally started googling him eons late in the game only to find out that I'm 4 years his senior, he has a girlfriend and he had an online show that ended 2 years ago now. Nice. And I also found some webisode about history telling drunk, which was pretty dope featuring Mike (yeah for some reason I think we're cool) and it was ridiculously entertaining.


I have to say this is a seriously good premise for a show, but I don't think that his liver would be cool with that. Ok so favorite part is when Burr goes up to Hamilton and says "yeah your giving me shit, we gotta dual" or something to that extent. Its like 3 am, I need to sleep. But after I post some wham! so everyone can be totally enthralled with George Micheals lyrical prowess and vocal range and Andrew (part of whams) need to be in the video too.
